MISSION STATEMENT: To help each student grow in their ability to appreciate the art of music by enhancing their skill to make music and by teaching them to understand the language of music.
What do I offer? Study in my studio encompasses several areas:
Private lesson: I strive for each student’s success at the piano by planning their lessons with specific goals in mind. Each student’s music education is given individual attention.
Computer: The computer lab is a very enjoyable and motivating musical experience for the students. Besides basic music theory, the students work on accuracy in rhythm, note reading, learning to listen (ear-training), and music history. There is an annual lab fee that covers the upkeep and maintenance of the lab throughout the year.
Studio classes: Studio classes are offered throughout the year on Saturday mornings and allow the student many opportunities; sharing of their music with other students, opportunity to hear others play, group activities and camaraderie with other pianists.
Recital: Annual studio recitals occur in the spring of each year. Other opportunities to participate in recital situations are available on an individual basis through the Teachers Guild.
Student Achievement Testing: Although this testing program is not for everyone or for a student’s entire career in piano, this program is an educational advantage for all students who do participate.
Tuition: Tuition is based on an annual fee divided into nine monthly payments. The tuition covers all of the above as well as awards and incentives. Tuition is subject to change yearly and is due at the first lesson of each month. Contact instructor for the current tuition pricing.
