88 Piano Place is my piano studio for students aged 6 - 18 years. I've been teaching piano for close to 30 years and love exploring the many types of music with my students. I really try to make it fun but I am also careful to instruct my students in the five disciplines of music: Performance, Technique, Sight-reading, Transposition, and Theory. This gives the students a well-rounded foundation to continue piano study in college or to keep playing for their own enjoyment throughout their lifetimes. I have never met an adult who wished they'd never studied the piano. On the contrary, they universally admit they were sorry they'd never appreciated their own piano studies or had never had the chance to pursue it. If you are such an adult, I would be happy to help you find a teacher. I don't want anyone to miss out on the fun and enjoyment piano study can bring.
