DR. ARVI SINKA is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and recipient of the Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University. He has served as head of the piano faculty at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and as orchestra pianist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra. He is active in the Michigan Music Teachers Association and in the Metropolitan Detroit Musicians League, where he is a past president and twice the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award.
