MMTA - BBSO Partnership



This year the Michigan Music Teachers Association has been invited to partnership with the Birmingham - Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra in awarding the Piano Concerto First Place winner the opportunity to perform the winning concerto with the orchestra on May 4th , 2008. The Orchestra, in affiliation with BSAF and Evola Music Co., is also awarding a $750.00 cash prize and a video recording of the performance.


The Birmingham ÐBloomfield Symphony Orchestra is celebrating thirty-three years of Performance. Charles Greenwell is the music director and principal conductor and will be on the podium for the May 4th performance. This public performance will be held in the Temple Beth El,located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Students eighteen years and younger are admitted free of charge to the performance.
